  • Since I wrote last...

     Lets see:

Friday: Friday was the beginning of 6 days off in a row for Stephen.  We went to the last fish fry of the year at our friend's church, stations (because our church has them at a time we can never make it) and a very good talk called "The Case for Mary".  Lots of fun with Bible Study friends.

Saturday: Two hour drive to Cleveland with in-laws.  Two hour drive back with in-laws.  Their van is fairly comfortable and it was worth it to save on gas.  Plus we bought a spilter so we could listen to our book on tape for part of the drive.  Shannon's fifth birthday party was the event we were car-pooling to.  It is always interesting to be arround Brian's family (you cannot pick your in-laws' in-laws, right?) but at the end I had fun playing with Shannon and the Lego set we got her for her birthday.

Sunday: Yay for Palm Sunday!  We get something free at church and no church class!  After lunch we played Ticket to Ride with the in-laws.  Then we went to Khols because Stephen wanted to look for a ball cap.  We did not find one but we found a bunch of other clothing including two dresses for me.  Three or four stores later we also had a tie for Stephen for Easter to match my dress (my idea, it took a little convincing to get him to get a tie with purple in it), more clothing for both of us, a bookshelf, and the best sandles ever!  I saw these sandles at Famous Footwear a few weeks ago.  They are made by Dr. Scholls and they have this jel in the heal, they are so great for walking.  At Famous they were over $50.  On Sunday I found them at Meijer for $25!  I need to remember that the next time I'm looking at shoes.

Tuesday: Pizza and the Passion of the Christ at Bible Study.  We decided evil people have no eye brows.  The devil in that movie, Voldemort, Sauran(sp?), etc.

Today: Busy day.  I stayed late at work because I am taking tomorrow off.  Errands, dinner, Church.  Stephen is working but at least I will be able to stay up to see him.  I'm listening to my MP3 player and catching up on e-mail, Xanga, etc.  Good times.

  • Reading this might make you jealous

We had a really good weekend.  On Friday we went out to see The Hunger Games which very awsome.  If you're read the books you will be pleased with how closely they stuck with the book.  If you have not read the books be forwarned that it does deserve the PG 13 rating.

Saturday Stephen had to work in the morning and I had a baby shower.   In the afternoon we went to confession, said a rosary and went to Mass (Catholic trifecta!) and then went out and bought shoes and ate at BD's Mongolian Barbeque.  We came home and went to sleep.

We sleep for about 13 hours.  I know!  It was glorious.

Sunday Stephen made french toast and we watched the Muppets, several of the bonus features too!   On the Blu-Ray if you pause the movie you get an intermission which is funny.  We were supposed to hang out with friends but things came up so we played cards and ran errands.

All in all, a pretty good weekend.

  • What a Weekend!

This weekend has been part crazy and part restful hours.

I got out of work a half hour early on Friday (don't worry, I paid for it that week and I will again this coming week) to drive up to Cleveland for a Jewelry show.  It was kind of fun.  The hostess works with Lighthouse Media as an independant consultant which I thought was cool.

Spent the night at my sis-in-laws.  It was nice to sleep in on Sat morning.  Also nice to see my two little nieces.  Shannon was pretty well behaved (based on her own standards of course) until it was time for me to go Saturday morning.  She took my shoes and would not give them back because she did not want me to leave.  You cannot be too upset with a kid who likes you that much... oh wait, you can.

Got to build my weekly Lego creation (per co-worker request: the Flintstones).  Spent some good quality time with Stephen on Saturday even though we did not do much.  We made banana bread for a family function today.

This morning instead of having Church Class we had a reconcilliation service for the students.  After Mass Stephen felt so bad we bailed on going to his Uncle's house.  We sent the bread with his parents and came home.  We both took a nap.

Stephen woke me up from my nap so we could turn on the tv and check out the tornado watch as the sirens were going off.  I don't think they had any funnel clouds but we did get hail (found at least one tiny dent on my car).

Pizza for dinner (from the company Stephen has applied for a job with, if they ask about their product he can now say he has recently eaten it).

  • I feel like I should say something...

... but I am just not very loquacious today.  I made a new LEGO model to bring in to work.  It is a mad scientist lab with hazmat guys coming in because of a toxic spill.  Some days I think my co-workers only like me for my LEGOs.

I made a very simple LEGO review game for church class and the kids loved it.

I want sleep, but first I have to finish the last thing on a long to-do list: Dishes.  I don't know why I always put them off so long but I do.

  • Spooky

I was checking on Google for Preimer reasons and I though, I don't know if I've ever googled "Natasha Decker".  I had googled "Natasha Meyer" years ago.

So I googled myself and one of the top web sites that came up was Spokeo.

    It is spooky.

So try this, google yourself (I googled each of my sisters) and click on the Spokeo web site that comes up with your name.

Trace yourself by state and then city and find the profile (or profiles) on you.

Some things are spooky accurate (They have my address!!), some are crazy off (my household income for example).

What do you think about this?
